Question 1

Was $4,000 a good price for this 2015 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

68 comparable 2015 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS listings sold at auction for a median of $5,700, spanning $4,100 to $8,200. At $4,000 this one went 30% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

How much below its undamaged value did this MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2015 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS's pre-damage retail value at $16,600. It sold for $4,000 — 76% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 3

What does a salvage (florida) mean for this MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

This 2015 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS was sold on a salvage (florida). A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

This MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS has front end and unknown damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

Is 113,585 miles high for a 2015 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2015 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS listings at auction averaged 92,779 miles across 68 sales, so at 113,585 miles this one sits 22% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Did this 2015 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front end damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
