Question 1

What do front end 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 877 recorded sales of the 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS with front end damage, the median was $7,100, from $4,050 to $11,100. That is 4% below the $7,400 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $5,300 a good price for this 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

2000 comparable 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS listings sold at auction for a median of $7,400, spanning $4,150 to $11,500. At $5,300 this one went 28% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS's pre-damage retail value at $44,647. It sold for $5,300 — 88% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

This MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS has front end and undercarriage damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

What does "ENHANCED VEHICLES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED VEHICLES is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

What does a permit salvage mean for this MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS was sold on a permit salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.
