Was $7,200 a good price for this 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS?

1379 comparable 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS listings sold at auction for a median of $9,200, spanning $5,100 to $14,600. At $7,200 this one went 22% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

How much below its undamaged value did this MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS sell for?

The insurer put this 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS's pre-damage retail value at $31,528. It sold for $7,200 — 77% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

How far is this MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS from an export port?

The lot sat at COPART in PA - PITTSBURGH NORTH. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 150 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Is 43,283 miles high for a 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS?

Comparable 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS listings at auction averaged 79,959 miles across 1379 sales, so at 43,283 miles this one sits 46% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

What does "ENHANCED VEHICLES" mean on this listing?

ENHANCED VEHICLES is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Did this 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS come with keys?

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with rollover damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
