Question 1

Was $10,400 a good price for this 2015 BMW X6?

Accepted Answer

48 comparable 2015 BMW X6 listings sold at auction for a median of $10,600, spanning $6,075 to $14,000. At $10,400 this one went 2% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

This BMW X6 sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

What does a certificate of title (p) mean for this BMW X6?

Accepted Answer

This 2015 BMW X6 was sold on a certificate of title (p). The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 4

What does "ENHANCED VEHICLES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED VEHICLES is the auction's own condition note for this 2015 BMW X6. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

How far is this BMW X6 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in TX - DALLAS SOUTH. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 157,778 miles high for a 2015 BMW X6?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2015 BMW X6 listings at auction averaged 102,555 miles across 48 sales, so at 157,778 miles this one sits 54% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
