Question 1

What do rear end 2016 BMW X6 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 45 recorded sales of the 2016 BMW X6 with rear end damage, the median was $8,000, from $4,900 to $11,500. That is 13% above the $7,100 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $9,900 a good price for this 2016 BMW X6?

Accepted Answer

380 comparable 2016 BMW X6 listings sold at auction for a median of $7,100, spanning $3,850 to $11,700. At $9,900 this one went 39% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this BMW X6 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2016 BMW X6's pre-damage retail value at $22,284. It sold for $9,900 — 56% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

This BMW X6 has rear end and side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

How far is this BMW X6 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in AL - MOBILE. The nearest major vehicle export port is New Orleans, roughly 350 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $300-$425, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 97,442 miles high for a 2016 BMW X6?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 BMW X6 listings at auction averaged 119,897 miles across 380 sales, so at 97,442 miles this one sits 19% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
