Question 1

What do front end 2021 BMW M5 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 52 recorded sales of the 2021 BMW M5 with front end damage, the median was $20,200, from $12,000 to $35,250. That is 18% below the $24,600 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $20,200 a good price for this 2021 BMW M5?

Accepted Answer

118 comparable 2021 BMW M5 listings sold at auction for a median of $24,600, spanning $11,900 to $39,250. At $20,200 this one went 18% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a non-repairable mean for this BMW M5?

Accepted Answer

This 2021 BMW M5 was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 4

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2021 BMW M5. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

This BMW M5 has front end and suspension damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 19,685 miles high for a 2021 BMW M5?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2021 BMW M5 listings at auction averaged 49,174 miles across 118 sales, so at 19,685 miles this one sits 60% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
