Question 1

How much below its undamaged value did this BMW M3 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2013 BMW M3's pre-damage retail value at $40,771. It sold for $15,200 — 63% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 2

How far is this BMW M3 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in CA - LONG BEACH. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 3

What does "ENGINE START PROGRAM" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE START PROGRAM is the auction's own condition note for this 2013 BMW M3. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

This BMW M3 has front end and minor dent/scratches damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

Did this 2013 BMW M3 come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front end damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN WBSKG9C58DJ593583?

Accepted Answer

WBSKG9C58DJ593583 identifies this specific 2013 BMW M3 in black with a 4.0l 8 engine, rear-wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
