Question 1

How much below its undamaged value did this BMW M3 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2013 BMW M3's pre-damage retail value at $34,176. It sold for $18,600 — 46% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 2

What does a salvage certificate of title mean for this BMW M3?

Accepted Answer

This 2013 BMW M3 was sold on a salvage certificate of title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 3

How far is this BMW M3 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in MO - ST. LOUIS. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 780 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $500-$750, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "RUNS AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUNS AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2013 BMW M3. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Did this 2013 BMW M3 come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with side damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2013 BMW M3 from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2013 BMW M3 was listed at COPART as lot 66133143 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
