Question 1

What do mechanical 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 10 recorded sales of the 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS with mechanical damage, the median was $12,400, from $9,800 to $16,100. That is 5% above the $11,800 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $19,800 a good price for this 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

616 comparable 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS listings sold at auction for a median of $11,800, spanning $5,500 to $18,400. At $19,800 this one went 68% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a certificate of title (p) mean for this MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS was sold on a certificate of title (p). The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 4

This MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS has mechanical and minor dent/scratches damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

Is 70,380 miles high for a 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS listings at auction averaged 58,228 miles across 616 sales, so at 70,380 miles this one sits 21% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does "RUNS AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUNS AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
