What do water/flood 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS models sell for?

Across 19 recorded sales of the 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS with water/flood damage, the median was $10,750, from $7,700 to $13,600. That is 9% below the $11,800 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Was $19,000 a good price for this 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS?

616 comparable 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS listings sold at auction for a median of $11,800, spanning $5,500 to $18,400. At $19,000 this one went 61% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

This MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS sold without keys — does that matter?

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

What does "ENHANCED VEHICLES" mean on this listing?

ENHANCED VEHICLES is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

How far is this MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS from an export port?

The lot sat at COPART in NY - NEWBURGH. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 160 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

What does a certificate of destruction mean for this MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS?

This 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS was sold on a certificate of destruction. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.
