What do side 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS models sell for?

Across 92 recorded sales of the 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS with side damage, the median was $10,800, from $6,600 to $15,700. That is 16% above the $9,313 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Was $13,100 a good price for this 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS?

1369 comparable 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS listings sold at auction for a median of $9,313, spanning $5,100 to $14,800. At $13,100 this one went 41% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

How much below its undamaged value did this MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS sell for?

The insurer put this 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS's pre-damage retail value at $21,013. It sold for $13,100 — 38% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

How far is this MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS from an export port?

The lot sat at COPART in CA - SUN VALLEY. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

What does "RUNS AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

RUNS AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Is 64,649 miles high for a 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS?

Comparable 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS listings at auction averaged 79,654 miles across 1369 sales, so at 64,649 miles this one sits 19% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
