Question 1

What do minor dent/scratches 2016 BMW X6 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 33 recorded sales of the 2016 BMW X6 with minor dent/scratches damage, the median was $8,450, from $4,000 to $12,700. That is 17% above the $7,200 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $11,700 a good price for this 2016 BMW X6?

Accepted Answer

371 comparable 2016 BMW X6 listings sold at auction for a median of $7,200, spanning $3,950 to $11,900. At $11,700 this one went 63% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a cert of title or salvage acq mean for this BMW X6?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 BMW X6 was sold on a cert of title or salvage acq. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 BMW X6. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 164,366 miles high for a 2016 BMW X6?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 BMW X6 listings at auction averaged 119,861 miles across 371 sales, so at 164,366 miles this one sits 37% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

How far is this BMW X6 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in CA - SUN VALLEY. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.
