Question 1

Was $8,500 a good price for this 2013 BMW X6?

Accepted Answer

25 comparable 2013 BMW X6 listings sold at auction for a median of $5,550, spanning $4,100 to $8,500. At $8,500 this one went 53% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

What does a cert of title-reconstructed mean for this BMW X6?

Accepted Answer

This 2013 BMW X6 was sold on a cert of title-reconstructed. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 3

How far is this BMW X6 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in LA - BATON ROUGE. The nearest major vehicle export port is New Orleans, roughly 130 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "RUNS AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUNS AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2013 BMW X6. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 112,056 miles high for a 2013 BMW X6?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2013 BMW X6 listings at auction averaged 115,552 miles across 25 sales, so at 112,056 miles this one sits 3% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Did this 2013 BMW X6 come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with minor dent/scratches damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
