Question 1

What do front & rear 2016 BMW X5 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 16 recorded sales of the 2016 BMW X5 with front & rear damage, the median was $6,100, from $3,450 to $9,250. That is 4% below the $6,363 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $7,525 a good price for this 2016 BMW X5?

Accepted Answer

1920 comparable 2016 BMW X5 listings sold at auction for a median of $6,363, spanning $3,650 to $11,300. At $7,525 this one went 18% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a non-repairable-ca mean for this BMW X5?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 BMW X5 was sold on a non-repairable-ca. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 4

Is 49,885 miles high for a 2016 BMW X5?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 BMW X5 listings at auction averaged 112,167 miles across 1920 sales, so at 49,885 miles this one sits 56% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 BMW X5. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

How far is this BMW X5 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in CA - LOS ANGELES. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.
