Was $4,150 a good price for this 2012 BMW X5?

39 comparable 2012 BMW X5 listings sold at auction for a median of $4,650, spanning $4,000 to $6,000. At $4,150 this one went 11% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

How much below its undamaged value did this BMW X5 sell for?

The insurer put this 2012 BMW X5's pre-damage retail value at $9,684. It sold for $4,150 — 57% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

What does a other (florida) mean for this BMW X5?

This 2012 BMW X5 was sold on a other (florida). The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Is 157,556 miles high for a 2012 BMW X5?

Comparable 2012 BMW X5 listings at auction averaged 124,713 miles across 39 sales, so at 157,556 miles this one sits 26% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Who sold this 2012 BMW X5?

The listing seller was Progressive Casualty Insurance. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Did this 2012 BMW X5 come with keys?

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with left front damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
