Question 1

What do mechanical 2017 BMW X5 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 68 recorded sales of the 2017 BMW X5 with mechanical damage, the median was $6,700, from $3,750 to $12,800. That is 7% below the $7,200 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $12,000 a good price for this 2017 BMW X5?

Accepted Answer

1806 comparable 2017 BMW X5 listings sold at auction for a median of $7,200, spanning $4,000 to $12,200. At $12,000 this one went 67% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a cert of title (p) mean for this BMW X5?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 BMW X5 was sold on a cert of title (p). The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 4

This BMW X5 has mechanical and minor dent/scratches damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

How far is this BMW X5 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in PA - YORK HAVEN. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 150 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

What does "ENHANCED VEHICLES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED VEHICLES is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 BMW X5. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
