Question 1

Was $11,125 a good price for this 2019 BMW X3?

Accepted Answer

2329 comparable 2019 BMW X3 listings sold at auction for a median of $8,300, spanning $4,850 to $12,800. At $11,125 this one went 34% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

How much below its undamaged value did this BMW X3 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2019 BMW X3's pre-damage retail value at $29,414. It sold for $11,125 — 62% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 3

What does a salvage (new york) mean for this BMW X3?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 BMW X3 was sold on a salvage (new york). A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

What does "Stationary" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

Stationary is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 BMW X3. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 62,000 miles high for a 2019 BMW X3?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 BMW X3 listings at auction averaged 76,396 miles across 2329 sales, so at 62,000 miles this one sits 19% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

This BMW X3 has rear and mechanical damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
