Question 1

Was $12,950 a good price for this 2018 BMW X3?

Accepted Answer

1107 comparable 2018 BMW X3 listings sold at auction for a median of $8,500, spanning $5,300 to $12,800. At $12,950 this one went 52% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

How much below its undamaged value did this BMW X3 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2018 BMW X3's pre-damage retail value at $28,765. It sold for $12,950 — 55% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 3

What does a other (new york) mean for this BMW X3?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 BMW X3 was sold on a other (new york). The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 4

What does "Stationary" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

Stationary is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 BMW X3. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

This BMW X3 has flood and damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 13,704 miles high for a 2018 BMW X3?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 BMW X3 listings at auction averaged 87,578 miles across 1107 sales, so at 13,704 miles this one sits 84% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
