Question 1

What does a ab-salvage-alberta mean for this BMW M6?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 BMW M6 was sold on a ab-salvage-alberta. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 2

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 BMW M6. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 3

This BMW M6 has front and rear damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 4

Where was this BMW M6 located?

Accepted Answer

The lot was held at IAAI in ALBERTA - ROCKY VIEW. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.

Question 5

Did this 2018 BMW M6 come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2018 BMW M6 from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2018 BMW M6 was listed at IAAI as lot 12711037 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
