Question 1

Was $7,200 a good price for this 2018 BMW M6?

Accepted Answer

10 comparable 2018 BMW M6 listings sold at auction for a median of $8,900, spanning $4,650 to $14,100. At $7,200 this one went 19% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

This BMW M6 sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

What does a non-repairable mean for this BMW M6?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 BMW M6 was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 4

How far is this BMW M6 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in IN - DYER. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 600 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $500-$725, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 BMW M6. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 66,495 miles high for a 2018 BMW M6?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 BMW M6 listings at auction averaged 55,768 miles across 10 sales, so at 66,495 miles this one sits 19% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
