Question 1

What do water/flood 2019 BMW M5 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 15 recorded sales of the 2019 BMW M5 with water/flood damage, the median was $15,400, from $6,900 to $27,000. That is 12% below the $17,600 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $9,500 a good price for this 2019 BMW M5?

Accepted Answer

222 comparable 2019 BMW M5 listings sold at auction for a median of $17,600, spanning $6,900 to $30,500. At $9,500 this one went 46% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage title mean for this BMW M5?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 BMW M5 was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

How far is this BMW M5 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in NY - BROOKHAVEN. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 160 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 96,248 miles high for a 2019 BMW M5?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 BMW M5 listings at auction averaged 56,292 miles across 222 sales, so at 96,248 miles this one sits 71% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Did this 2019 BMW M5 come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with water/flood damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
