Question 1

What do side 2019 BMW M5 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 17 recorded sales of the 2019 BMW M5 with side damage, the median was $22,850, from $9,700 to $30,500. That is 30% above the $17,550 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $20,800 a good price for this 2019 BMW M5?

Accepted Answer

219 comparable 2019 BMW M5 listings sold at auction for a median of $17,550, spanning $6,900 to $30,750. At $20,800 this one went 19% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this BMW M5 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2019 BMW M5's pre-damage retail value at $59,571. It sold for $20,800 — 65% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a salvage title mean for this BMW M5?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 BMW M5 was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

This BMW M5 has side and rear end damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 50,982 miles high for a 2019 BMW M5?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 BMW M5 listings at auction averaged 55,673 miles across 219 sales, so at 50,982 miles this one sits 8% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
