Question 1

Was $9,900 a good price for this 2013 BMW M5?

Accepted Answer

29 comparable 2013 BMW M5 listings sold at auction for a median of $8,700, spanning $5,400 to $14,300. At $9,900 this one went 14% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

This BMW M5 sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

What does a dealer only clean title (p) mean for this BMW M5?

Accepted Answer

This 2013 BMW M5 was sold on a dealer only clean title (p). A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

How far is this BMW M5 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in MI - WAYLAND. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 550 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $475-$650, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "ENHANCED VEHICLES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED VEHICLES is the auction's own condition note for this 2013 BMW M5. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2013 BMW M5 from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2013 BMW M5 was listed at COPART as lot 82140763 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
