Question 1

What do all over 2023 BMW M3 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 24 recorded sales of the 2023 BMW M3 with all over damage, the median was $17,200, from $12,400 to $32,000. That is 40% below the $28,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $37,000 a good price for this 2023 BMW M3?

Accepted Answer

299 comparable 2023 BMW M3 listings sold at auction for a median of $28,500, spanning $13,000 to $51,000. At $37,000 this one went 30% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How far is this BMW M3 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in NY - MEDFORD. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 160 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2023 BMW M3. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

This BMW M3 has all over and suspension damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 1,699 miles high for a 2023 BMW M3?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2023 BMW M3 listings at auction averaged 24,377 miles across 299 sales, so at 1,699 miles this one sits 93% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
