Question 1

Was $51,250 a good price for this 2022 BMW M3?

Accepted Answer

230 comparable 2022 BMW M3 listings sold at auction for a median of $24,700, spanning $11,600 to $41,000. At $51,250 this one went 107% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

What does "Run & Drive" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

Run & Drive is the auction's own condition note for this 2022 BMW M3. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 3

Is 4,534 miles high for a 2022 BMW M3?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 BMW M3 listings at auction averaged 32,493 miles across 230 sales, so at 4,534 miles this one sits 86% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Who sold this 2022 BMW M3?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was Progressive Casualty Insurance. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 5

Did this 2022 BMW M3 come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with suspension damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2022 BMW M3 from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2022 BMW M3 was listed at IAAI as lot 37102663 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
