Question 1

Was $16,700 a good price for this 2015 BMW M3?

Accepted Answer

17 comparable 2015 BMW M3 listings sold at auction for a median of $13,913, spanning $8,250 to $18,900. At $16,700 this one went 20% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

How much below its undamaged value did this BMW M3 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2015 BMW M3's pre-damage retail value at $38,006. It sold for $16,700 — 56% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 3

How far is this BMW M3 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in NJ - TRENTON. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 30 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "ENHANCED VEHICLES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED VEHICLES is the auction's own condition note for this 2015 BMW M3. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 93,978 miles high for a 2015 BMW M3?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2015 BMW M3 listings at auction averaged 77,419 miles across 17 sales, so at 93,978 miles this one sits 21% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Did this 2015 BMW M3 come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front end damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
