Question 1

Was $9,300 a good price for this 2020 BMW M2?

Accepted Answer

119 comparable 2020 BMW M2 listings sold at auction for a median of $13,625, spanning $6,700 to $22,600. At $9,300 this one went 32% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

How much below its undamaged value did this BMW M2 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2020 BMW M2's pre-damage retail value at $37,882. It sold for $9,300 — 75% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 3

What does a non-repairable mean for this BMW M2?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 BMW M2 was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 4

How far is this BMW M2 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in TX - HOUSTON. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 45,650 miles high for a 2020 BMW M2?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 BMW M2 listings at auction averaged 45,407 miles across 119 sales, so at 45,650 miles this one sits 1% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Did this 2020 BMW M2 come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with water/flood damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
