Question 1

What do front end 2016 BMW M2 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 67 recorded sales of the 2016 BMW M2 with front end damage, the median was $5,925, from $3,500 to $8,300. That is 5% above the $5,650 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a clear mean for this BMW M2?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 BMW M2 was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 3

How far is this BMW M2 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in FL - FORT MYERS. The nearest major vehicle export port is Jacksonville, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

Is 60,172 miles high for a 2016 BMW M2?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 BMW M2 listings at auction averaged 80,232 miles across 141 sales, so at 60,172 miles this one sits 25% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 BMW M2. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

This BMW M2 has front end and unknown damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
