Question 1

What do front end 2017 BMW M2 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 37 recorded sales of the 2017 BMW M2 with front end damage, the median was $8,800, from $5,300 to $13,500. That is 6% below the $9,375 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a clean title mean for this BMW M2?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 BMW M2 was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 3

How far is this BMW M2 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in MI - WOODHAVEN. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 550 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $475-$650, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

Is 63,331 miles high for a 2017 BMW M2?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 BMW M2 listings at auction averaged 68,803 miles across 81 sales, so at 63,331 miles this one sits 8% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 BMW M2. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Did this 2017 BMW M2 come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front end damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
