Question 1

What do front end 2017 BMW M2 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 37 recorded sales of the 2017 BMW M2 with front end damage, the median was $8,800, from $5,300 to $13,500. That is 3% below the $9,050 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

This BMW M2 sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

This BMW M2 has front end and undercarriage damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 4

Is 1 miles high for a 2017 BMW M2?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 BMW M2 listings at auction averaged 69,028 miles across 81 sales, so at 1 miles this one sits 100% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Who sold this 2017 BMW M2?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was ALLY FINANCIAL. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
