Question 1

What do front end 2024 BMW IX models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 139 recorded sales of the 2024 BMW IX with front end damage, the median was $22,275, from $13,300 to $33,500. That is 11% below the $24,900 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $17,000 a good price for this 2024 BMW IX?

Accepted Answer

318 comparable 2024 BMW IX listings sold at auction for a median of $24,900, spanning $13,300 to $34,500. At $17,000 this one went 32% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this BMW IX?

Accepted Answer

This 2024 BMW IX was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

This BMW IX has front end and rear damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

Is 31,149 miles high for a 2024 BMW IX?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2024 BMW IX listings at auction averaged 22,190 miles across 318 sales, so at 31,149 miles this one sits 40% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2024 BMW IX. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
