Question 1

What do side 2023 BMW IX models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 22 recorded sales of the 2023 BMW IX with side damage, the median was $28,250, from $12,300 to $33,500. That is 14% above the $24,700 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $37,000 a good price for this 2023 BMW IX?

Accepted Answer

180 comparable 2023 BMW IX listings sold at auction for a median of $24,700, spanning $12,000 to $36,250. At $37,000 this one went 50% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this BMW IX sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2023 BMW IX's pre-damage retail value at $50,916. It sold for $37,000 — 27% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2023 BMW IX. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

What does a salvage title mean for this BMW IX?

Accepted Answer

This 2023 BMW IX was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 6

Is 30,623 miles high for a 2023 BMW IX?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2023 BMW IX listings at auction averaged 33,233 miles across 180 sales, so at 30,623 miles this one sits 8% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
