Question 1

What do front end 2016 BMW 6ER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 52 recorded sales of the 2016 BMW 6ER with front end damage, the median was $6,300, from $3,450 to $8,900. That is 11% above the $5,700 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,700 a good price for this 2016 BMW 6ER?

Accepted Answer

136 comparable 2016 BMW 6ER listings sold at auction for a median of $5,700, spanning $3,450 to $9,200. At $8,700 this one went 53% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this BMW 6ER?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 BMW 6ER was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

How far is this BMW 6ER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in PA - BRIDGEPORT. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 150 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 BMW 6ER. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 79,905 miles high for a 2016 BMW 6ER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 BMW 6ER listings at auction averaged 94,769 miles across 136 sales, so at 79,905 miles this one sits 16% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
