Question 1

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 BMW 6ER. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 2

This BMW 6ER has front & rear and right side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 3

Is 129,738 miles high for a 2017 BMW 6ER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 BMW 6ER listings at auction averaged 81,132 miles across 79 sales, so at 129,738 miles this one sits 60% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Who sold this 2017 BMW 6ER?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was NEW JERSEY MANUFACTURING GROUP. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 5

Did this 2017 BMW 6ER come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front & rear damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN WBA6D6C55HG388478?

Accepted Answer

WBA6D6C55HG388478 identifies this specific 2017 BMW 6ER in black with a 4.4l v8 fi dohc 32v nf4 engine, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
