Question 1

What do minor dent/scratches 2013 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 10 recorded sales of the 2013 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS with minor dent/scratches damage, the median was $4,900, from $4,450 to $7,500. That is 1% above the $4,850 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $5,000 a good price for this 2013 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

33 comparable 2013 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS listings sold at auction for a median of $4,850, spanning $4,200 to $6,900. At $5,000 this one went 3% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a cert of title or salvage acq (p) mean for this MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

This 2013 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS was sold on a cert of title or salvage acq (p). A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

What does "RUNS AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUNS AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2013 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

How far is this MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in CA - HAYWARD. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 187,419 miles high for a 2013 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2013 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS listings at auction averaged 90,427 miles across 33 sales, so at 187,419 miles this one sits 107% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
