Question 1

What do mechanical 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 16 recorded sales of the 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS with mechanical damage, the median was $4,550, from $3,250 to $7,000. That is 6% below the $4,850 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $7,575 a good price for this 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

927 comparable 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS listings sold at auction for a median of $4,850, spanning $3,350 to $7,525. At $7,575 this one went 56% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a certificate of title mean for this MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS was sold on a certificate of title. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 4

How far is this MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in TX - AMARILLO. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 105,683 miles high for a 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS listings at auction averaged 97,620 miles across 927 sales, so at 105,683 miles this one sits 8% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

This MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS has mechanical and minor dent/scratches damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
