Was $4,375 a good price for this 2010 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS?

24 comparable 2010 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS listings sold at auction for a median of $4,800, spanning $4,000 to $7,250. At $4,375 this one went 9% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

How much below its undamaged value did this MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS sell for?

The insurer put this 2010 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS's pre-damage retail value at $10,857. It sold for $4,375 — 60% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

What does a salvage (north carolina) mean for this MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS?

This 2010 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS was sold on a salvage (north carolina). A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

What does "Run & Drive" mean on this listing?

Run & Drive is the auction's own condition note for this 2010 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

This MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS has rear and unknown damage — how does that affect it?

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Is 138,673 miles high for a 2010 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS?

Comparable 2010 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS listings at auction averaged 100,930 miles across 24 sales, so at 138,673 miles this one sits 37% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
