Question 1

What do rear end 2014 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 40 recorded sales of the 2014 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS with rear end damage, the median was $5,200, from $4,350 to $7,300. That is 2% below the $5,300 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,100 a good price for this 2014 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

241 comparable 2014 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS listings sold at auction for a median of $5,300, spanning $4,200 to $7,500. At $4,100 this one went 23% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2014 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS's pre-damage retail value at $17,570. It sold for $4,100 — 77% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does "RUNS AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUNS AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2014 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

This MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS has rear end and front end damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

What does a permit no brand - unfit mean for this MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

This 2014 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS was sold on a permit no brand - unfit. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.
