Question 1

Was $9,200 a good price for this 2017 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER?

Accepted Answer

899 comparable 2017 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER listings sold at auction for a median of $8,100, spanning $4,150 to $14,100. At $9,200 this one went 14% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

How much below its undamaged value did this LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2017 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER's pre-damage retail value at $13,650. It sold for $9,200 — 33% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 3

What does a clean title mean for this LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

How far is this LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in TX - TEMPLE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 203,575 miles high for a 2017 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER listings at auction averaged 96,915 miles across 899 sales, so at 203,575 miles this one sits 110% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Did this 2017 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with hail damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
