Question 1

What do water/flood 2017 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 43 recorded sales of the 2017 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER with water/flood damage, the median was $8,350, from $5,000 to $12,300. That is 3% above the $8,100 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $12,100 a good price for this 2017 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER?

Accepted Answer

901 comparable 2017 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER listings sold at auction for a median of $8,100, spanning $4,200 to $14,100. At $12,100 this one went 49% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2017 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER's pre-damage retail value at $36,712. It sold for $12,100 — 67% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a non-repairable mean for this LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 5

How far is this LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in FL - MIAMI. The nearest major vehicle export port is Jacksonville, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 57,214 miles high for a 2017 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER listings at auction averaged 97,050 miles across 901 sales, so at 57,214 miles this one sits 41% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
