Question 1

What do rear end 2018 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 35 recorded sales of the 2018 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY with rear end damage, the median was $7,800, from $3,650 to $11,500. That is 5% above the $7,400 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,650 a good price for this 2018 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY?

Accepted Answer

417 comparable 2018 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY listings sold at auction for a median of $7,400, spanning $3,950 to $11,450. At $3,650 this one went 51% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this LAND ROVER DISCOVERY sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2018 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY's pre-damage retail value at $9,100. It sold for $3,650 — 60% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a non-repairable mean for this LAND ROVER DISCOVERY?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 5

How far is this LAND ROVER DISCOVERY from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in FL - RIVERVIEW. The nearest major vehicle export port is Jacksonville, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 131,229 miles high for a 2018 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY listings at auction averaged 88,192 miles across 417 sales, so at 131,229 miles this one sits 49% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
