Question 1

How far is this LAND ROVER DISCOVERY from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in NY - BROOKHAVEN. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 160 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 2

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2023 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 3

Is 37,762 miles high for a 2023 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2023 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY listings at auction averaged 27,657 miles across 73 sales, so at 37,762 miles this one sits 37% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Did this 2023 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with water/flood damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 5

What can I find out from VIN SALRJ2EX1P2465349?

Accepted Answer

SALRJ2EX1P2465349 identifies this specific 2023 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY in blue with a 2.0l 4 engine, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2023 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2023 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY was listed at COPART as lot 74878366 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
