Question 1

What do normal wear & tear 2016 JEEP WRANGLER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 32 recorded sales of the 2016 JEEP WRANGLER with normal wear & tear damage, the median was $5,950, from $3,800 to $8,300. That is 8% above the $5,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $11,750 a good price for this 2016 JEEP WRANGLER?

Accepted Answer

2521 comparable 2016 JEEP WRANGLER listings sold at auction for a median of $5,500, spanning $3,550 to $8,575. At $11,750 this one went 114% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a clear mean for this JEEP WRANGLER?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 JEEP WRANGLER was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

How far is this JEEP WRANGLER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in GA - RINCON. The nearest major vehicle export port is Savannah, roughly 250 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $300-$450, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 JEEP WRANGLER. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 118,432 miles high for a 2016 JEEP WRANGLER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 JEEP WRANGLER listings at auction averaged 105,483 miles across 2521 sales, so at 118,432 miles this one sits 12% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
