Question 1

What do front end 2023 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 1370 recorded sales of the 2023 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE with front end damage, the median was $10,200, from $5,600 to $17,400. That is 11% below the $11,450 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $9,700 a good price for this 2023 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE?

Accepted Answer

3096 comparable 2023 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE listings sold at auction for a median of $11,450, spanning $5,600 to $19,400. At $9,700 this one went 15% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

How much below its undamaged value did this JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2023 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE's pre-damage retail value at $43,063. It sold for $9,700 — 77% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 5

What does a salvage title mean for this JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE?

Accepted Answer

This 2023 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 6

Is 12,711 miles high for a 2023 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2023 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE listings at auction averaged 41,366 miles across 3096 sales, so at 12,711 miles this one sits 69% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
