Question 1

What do minor dent/scratches 2017 FORD FUSION models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 82 recorded sales of the 2017 FORD FUSION with minor dent/scratches damage, the median was $4,050, from $3,100 to $6,400. That is 7% above the $3,800 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,500 a good price for this 2017 FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

1672 comparable 2017 FORD FUSION listings sold at auction for a median of $3,800, spanning $3,100 to $5,300. At $8,500 this one went 124% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a cert of title or salvage acq mean for this FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 FORD FUSION was sold on a cert of title or salvage acq. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

What does "ENHANCED VEHICLES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED VEHICLES is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 FORD FUSION. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

How far is this FORD FUSION from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in CA - HAYWARD. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 106,151 miles high for a 2017 FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 FORD FUSION listings at auction averaged 87,611 miles across 1672 sales, so at 106,151 miles this one sits 21% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
