Question 1

What do rear end 2017 FORD FUSION models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 286 recorded sales of the 2017 FORD FUSION with rear end damage, the median was $3,750, from $3,100 to $4,950. That is 1% below the $3,775 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,600 a good price for this 2017 FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

1669 comparable 2017 FORD FUSION listings sold at auction for a median of $3,775, spanning $3,075 to $5,300. At $4,600 this one went 22% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This FORD FUSION sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

How much below its undamaged value did this FORD FUSION sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2017 FORD FUSION's pre-damage retail value at $13,979. It sold for $4,600 — 67% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 5

This FORD FUSION has rear end and front end damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 69,711 miles high for a 2017 FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 FORD FUSION listings at auction averaged 87,741 miles across 1669 sales, so at 69,711 miles this one sits 21% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
