What do mechanical 2016 FORD F250 models sell for?

Across 22 recorded sales of the 2016 FORD F250 with mechanical damage, the median was $4,550, from $3,100 to $9,100. That is 31% below the $6,575 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

What does a salvage title mean for this FORD F250?

This 2016 FORD F250 was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

How far is this FORD F250 from an export port?

The lot sat at COPART in AL - MONTGOMERY. The nearest major vehicle export port is New Orleans, roughly 350 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $300-$425, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Is 159,520 miles high for a 2016 FORD F250?

Comparable 2016 FORD F250 listings at auction averaged 139,631 miles across 1105 sales, so at 159,520 miles this one sits 14% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Who sold this 2016 FORD F250?

The listing seller was PROGRESSIVE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Did this 2016 FORD F250 come with keys?

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with mechanical damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
