What do mechanical 2017 FORD F250 models sell for?

Across 60 recorded sales of the 2017 FORD F250 with mechanical damage, the median was $7,875, from $3,700 to $13,300. That is 9% below the $8,700 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Was $11,200 a good price for this 2017 FORD F250?

1966 comparable 2017 FORD F250 listings sold at auction for a median of $8,700, spanning $4,150 to $18,000. At $11,200 this one went 29% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

How much below its undamaged value did this FORD F250 sell for?

The insurer put this 2017 FORD F250's pre-damage retail value at $48,728. It sold for $11,200 — 77% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

How far is this FORD F250 from an export port?

The lot sat at COPART in MS - FLORENCE. The nearest major vehicle export port is New Orleans, roughly 180 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $225-$325, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

What does a clean title mean for this FORD F250?

This 2017 FORD F250 was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Is 171,384 miles high for a 2017 FORD F250?

Comparable 2017 FORD F250 listings at auction averaged 152,153 miles across 1966 sales, so at 171,384 miles this one sits 13% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
