Question 1

What do minor dent/scratches 2021 BMW X7 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 18 recorded sales of the 2021 BMW X7 with minor dent/scratches damage, the median was $25,250, from $20,500 to $29,750. That is 3% above the $24,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $29,250 a good price for this 2021 BMW X7?

Accepted Answer

362 comparable 2021 BMW X7 listings sold at auction for a median of $24,500, spanning $12,950 to $34,000. At $29,250 this one went 19% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this BMW X7 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2021 BMW X7's pre-damage retail value at $42,979. It sold for $29,250 — 32% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2021 BMW X7. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 46,163 miles high for a 2021 BMW X7?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2021 BMW X7 listings at auction averaged 63,186 miles across 362 sales, so at 46,163 miles this one sits 27% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

How far is this BMW X7 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in KS - KANSAS CITY. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 700 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $450-$675, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.
