Question 1

Was $30,250 a good price for this 2021 BMW X7?

Accepted Answer

355 comparable 2021 BMW X7 listings sold at auction for a median of $24,550, spanning $12,500 to $34,250. At $30,250 this one went 23% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

This BMW X7 sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this BMW X7 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2021 BMW X7's pre-damage retail value at $60,277. It sold for $30,250 — 50% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

How far is this BMW X7 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in NY - BROOKHAVEN. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 160 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2021 BMW X7. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 21,543 miles high for a 2021 BMW X7?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2021 BMW X7 listings at auction averaged 63,017 miles across 355 sales, so at 21,543 miles this one sits 66% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
